Rediscovery of Black Hole Calypso Monster Pencil Lure!

When I fished yellowtail from the shore in Chuja Island in Korea last year, big stickbait worked great. So I prepared stickbait mostly for this year's yellowtail popping.

Like most other fishing trip, big stickbait didn't work great this time as most yellowtail were smaller and they prefer smaller lures.

I started with 3 oz Ranger lure by skipping the surface.

To my surprise, many yellowtail followed and made boils behind the lure. but not many hookups.

So I decided to test Black Hole Calypso Monster Pencil by skipping. I normally use BH Calypso Monster by retrieving with different speed for tuna as most other anglers do.

When I skipped the surface with fast retrieval with the lure, yellowtail went crazy and the hookups ratio became much better.

I will never leave for popping trips without The Black Hole Monster Calypso Monster Pencil. smile emoticon

The advantage of the lure is you can cast farther as it is medal lure.
