Surf Rod recommendation for Canal

"I want a rod that I can use for the canal as well as rock fishing light jigging. Which rod would you recommend? The Black Hole surf 2 or the Black Hole striped bass special? Thank you I advance."

"Both rods are great. Black Hole Striped Bass Special is fast action and Surf II regular is a little moderate/fact action rod."
