    • 8/16/14: Groupers!! Black Hole Cape Cod Special 80g 5'10" Jigging Rod and Jigging Master PE6 Reel!

    We expected hot grouper bites as weather was nice and water was so clear. But today was one of the worst grouper fishing I've ever had in NC.

    Sizes were respectable and I lost couple of nice grouper because I couldn't stop them. Joe lost couple of big grouper in a row because the Gamakatsu hooks failed.
    I used Black Hole Cape Cod Special 80g/JM PE6 reels. I can say the BH 80g is good for grouper.
