6/13/14: Fresh Halibuts (+ LOTS) From Alaska!! All caught on jigs & Black Hole Cape Cod Special 80g, 150g Jigging Rod & Black Hole Magic Eye 571XXH, 632XXH Rod!

"I had the best ever halibut fishing at Icy Bay Lodge today..
We ran about 35 miles and we didn't see another boat for the whole day.
Scott got 200 plus lb halibut on his first cast using Black Hole Cape Cod Special 150g rod. I got 130 lb halibut using Black Hole Cape Cod Special 80g rod.
Later on, Scott used Black Hole Magic Eye 672 XXH rod and I used Black Hole Magic Eye 571XXH rod and released many halibut upto 150 lb. We leased at least a dozen fish over 100 lb with such light rods.
All were caught on jigs. Amazing day!" :)
