    • 4/28/14: Tarpon Fishing in Costa Rica!

    I found tarpon don't care about banana curse like dogfish. I ate banana yesterday and we had a dream trip. 

    We released 7 - 8 tarpon in 100 - 120 lb range and we lost a dozen of tarpon. 8 were hooked up with jigs.
    I released 5 tarpon using 5 different Black Hole rods. My mission is accomplished.

    We came back at the dock at 1:00 pm as we were sick and tired of catching big tarpon.
    What a day!
