7'2" Giant Flex Heavy:
The new 7'2" Giant Flex Heavy is the heavier version of our Giant Flex series, engineered for serious big‑game anglers. At 7'2" in length, it’s the ultimate tuna popping rod, perfect for handling fish over 100" (≈254 cm). Versatile in design, it can also be built as a conventional jigging rod with bait or used as a rail rod for West Coast fishing.
This rod has already been abusively tested in both the U.S. and Europe for giant tuna fishing. Capt. Tim of Hail Mary Fishing Charter proved its power by landing a 100" (≈254 cm) tuna with 70 lb of drag on the Giant Flex Heavy — a true testament to its strength and reliability.
