Product Description
Carpenter KLL Gamma γ200-270 — 270mm
A Large Floating Presentation for GT & Tuna
The Carpenter KLL Gamma γ200-270 is a 270mm floating lure developed primarily for GT and tuna. Designed for drawing fish into striking, it delivers the Gamma presentation in a large profile for offshore casting.
Proven on Trophy GT
Carpenter’s official Memorial Fish gallery documents a 43kg (approximately 95 lb) GT caught in Okinawa on the KLL γ200 in October 2019.
Another report from Christmas Island in August 2026 lists the γ200 and describes eight GT caught in half a day, with the largest exceeding 30kg (approximately 66 lb).
Key Features

• Floating Design — Officially classified as floating by Carpenter.
• Gamma-Jerk Action — Adjust retrieve speed, stroke length, cadence, and pauses to suit the target species and conditions.
• Recommended Rigging — Approximately 15g per hook with Carpenter SR 350lb split rings.
