The Black Hole USA NANOFIN Light Popping Series is designed for anglers who want a light‑medium popping rod that delivers long casting distance, versatility, and serious strength. Built with premium Nano Carbon from Toray in Japan, the NANOFIN sits perfectly between the Magic Eye and Cape Cod Special Nano/Graphite rods in both weight and power.
These rods are engineered for small to medium‑class tuna, yet they’ve been proven on far bigger fish — including 100+ lb Bluefin Tuna on the 8'6" model and 30 kg (60 lb) Bluefin on the 7'6" model. The NANOFIN series also passed the 35 lb drag machine test, confirming its strength under heavy load.
The lineup includes 7'6", 8'0", and 8'6" models — each tuned for different casting distances and target species. The 8' model sits right in the middle, offering the perfect balance of power and reach, making it excellent for Tuna, GT, and Striped Bass.
