Flexible. Powerful. Proven Worldwide.
The Magic Eye Light Popping Rod Series is built for anglers who want a rod with flexibility, control, and surprising lifting power. Constructed with Nano Carbon for strength and durability, the Magic Eye has been tested in demanding fisheries from Panama to Bermuda, landing fish far above its class — including 100 lb Tuna and 110 lb GT on the 804 model.
Its moderate, flexible action gives the rod a strong rubber‑band–type feel, making it extremely forgiving under load and ideal for anglers who prefer a rod that bends deep while maintaining control. This same flexibility makes the Magic Eye a favorite for kayak fishing, where smooth pressure and shock absorption are essential.
Available in two models, the Magic Eye Light Popping Rod covers everything from inshore species to powerful offshore predators.
Materials & Components:
- Nano Carbon construction
- Moderate, flexible action with strong rubber‑band–type bend
- Fuji SIC Guides
- Fuji Graphite Reel Seat
- Custom‑Built EVA Grip
- Available in Red/White and Blue color options
Target Fish
• Striped Bass & inshore species (753 model)
• Fish up to 50–60 lb (804 recommended range)
• Proven on 100 lb Tuna & 110 lb GT (804 model)
• Light popping for pelagic, reef species, and coastal gamefish
• Excellent for kayak fishing thanks to its flexible, moderate action

The Legend Returns — Re‑Engineered for Elite Bass Performance
Introducing the newly upgraded Tarantula Edge, the next evolution of the legendary Tarantula series. Built for anglers who demand the highest level of precision in freshwater bass fishing, this rod embodies three defining traits: powerful, fast, and razor‑sharp.
The build features Fuji K‑Guide SIC paired with a Fuji Titanium tip guide, a premium combination that elevates balance, sensitivity, and long‑term durability. The blank is constructed with CP 020 4YA‑5 carbon using an 8‑axis weave, effectively suppressing unwanted torsion and delivering ultra‑precise, micro‑responsive action. Every trace of unnecessary resistance has been engineered out.
A newly adopted slim Fuji reel seat enhances grip comfort and stability, reducing fatigue during long sessions and allowing anglers to fish with more energy, control, and confidence.
Designed for serious bass anglers who appreciate refined performance, the Tarantula Edge brings next‑level sensitivity and speed to every cast and every strike.
TES-671ML-ST (SPINNING ROD)
The Tarantula Edge All‑Round model is engineered for versatility across a wide range of finesse and semi‑finesse bass techniques. Its medium‑light power paired with a solid tip makes it ideal for wacky rigs, Neko rigs, downshots, kaisel rigs, and no‑sinker presentations. The solid tip excels at detecting the slightest movements and subtle bites, giving anglers immediate feedback and precise control.
Despite the common perception that spinning setups are weaker, this rod delivers impressive strength. The 8‑axis carbon construction provides a powerful medium‑light action capable of controlling and landing even big bass with confidence and ease.
TEC-671L-ST (BAITCASTING ROD)
The Tarantula Edge Bait Finesse model is built to handle the constantly changing variables of modern bass fishing—whether the fish are pressured by weather shifts, water conditions, or environmental stress. This model is engineered for precise, ultra‑controlled lure movement, especially when working with small, lightweight presentations.
With its 6'7" length and light‑power solid tip, it delivers exceptional responsiveness without overpowering or spooking the bass. The blank loads perfectly for finesse applications such as micro rubber jigs, light Texas rigs, and downshot rigs, allowing anglers to present lures with accuracy and subtlety.

Pressing Instructions:
1. Surface Preparation & Pre-Squeegee Process
-
Clean the Surface: Before applying the sticker, clean the area using soap and water or a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water. A clean surface enhances adhesion and helps the sticker withstand environmental factors, washing, and general wear. While the sticker will adhere without this step, cleaning is highly recommended.
-
Pre-Squeegee: Once the sticker is cut out, place it face down with the white side facing up. Using the padded end of the included squeegee, apply firm pressure while running it back and forth 2–4 times over the design. For thinner or separated elements (like small text), apply extra pressure and repeat as needed.
2. Preparing the Sticker for Transfer
-
Slowly peel the two sheets apart, ensuring the entire design lifts onto the top carrier sheet.
-
For designs with thin lines or small separated elements, peel even more carefully. If any portion doesn’t lift, re-squeegee from the back and try peeling again from a different angle. With experience, this process will become more intuitive.
3. Applying the Sticker to Your Item
-
Identify the placement area before applying the sticker.
-
For larger designs, you may find it easier to apply the sticker from one side to the other. This method improves accuracy, reduces air bubbles, and prevents wrinkles in the carrier sheet that could misalign or overlap design elements. Tip: Leave one corner of the carrier sheet unpressed for easy peeling later.
4. Finalizing the Transfer
-
Once the sticker is placed, firmly squeegee it 2–4 times for proper adhesion.
-
Peel slowly, watching to ensure all elements stick securely.
-
If any part does not adhere properly, lay the carrier sheet back down, re-squeegee the area, and peel from a different angle.

Carpenter BC Popper 75-145 LQ Lure:
BC popper Old-fashioned BC popper was born in 1996 from Carpenter. This popper itself has existed since I was making lures as a hobby before I started carpenter. In the fall of 1994, the year before I started carpenter, I caught yellowtail with this popper at Shiraishi Guri off the coast of Tango Peninsula. I threw it from the roof of the ship and took it out next to the bird (slow popping). At that time, no one was throwing a top water lure in Genesis of the Tango lure game, and it was a super-minor fishing with few people even jigging. I think this yellowtail is probably the first yellowtail caught at the top in Tango.
Effective Fish Species
Tuna Blue Blacked Fish (Yellowtail, amberjack), GT (Giant Trevally/Ulua).
Effective Situation
"BC Popper" is effective in the situation where tuna easily reacts to pop sounds. When aiming for GT, fast winding in the shallow area is effective.
Action
- "BC Popper 75-145 Normal" When aiming for tuna, stop and go popping is performed. When aiming for GT, it is better to just pull fast.
- "BC Popper 75-145 LQ" When aiming for tuna, stop and go popping is performed. When aiming for GT, it is better to just pull fast. Stop and go popping may also be good.
